Ranthambhore
National Park is one of the most popular wildlife sanctuaries in India where
you can find Royal Bengal Tigers freely moving around in natural habitat. While
tigers are generally hard to discover in jungles, Ranthambhore is one of the
rare places where you can easily get to see these wild cats.

under the ‘Project Tiger’ initiative in 1974. The park was honored with the

jungle safari generally starts at 7.00 am in the morning and lasts till 10.30
am during the winters, while in summers it is from 6.30 am to 10.00 am.

Park is known for the large popular of diurnal tigers, that is, tiers that can
be seen during the day. Besides the ferocious tigers, leopards, striped hyenas,
jackals, sloth bears palm civets, five striped squirrels and Indian flying
foxes are found moving round at ease. The biodiversity of the forest has led to
the large population of deer at Ranthambhore; from sambar, chital, black bucks
to chinkara deer, you can find almost all the species at this forest.
