Admit card for Air Force Common Admission Test

Air Force Common Admission Test commonly known as AFCAT is taken for selection into Indian Air Force in Flying Branch, Technical Branch or Ground Branch after the successful completion of graduation. The applications are invited twice a year by the Indian Air Force from the young eligible male and female candidates. For the session to begin in July 2016, the exam has been scheduled for September 13, 2015 at 61 centres throughout the nation. The citizens of India as per the citizenship Act of 1955 were permitted to apply for the below mentioned air force jobs/ branches till July 23, 2015 ONLINE only


  • Flying Branch- If selected, you are trained to become Fighter pilot or a Helicopter pilot or a Transport pilot.
  • Ground Branch- Candidates are trained for Managing Material and Human resources.
  • Technical Branch: Trained to keep a keen observation over the most sophisticated equipment of the Indian Air Force.


The Admit card for the exam is issued by the Indian Air Force. Though no specific date was issued to the candidates to download the Admit card but it was very much obvious that either they will be available for download in the last days of the August month or the starting days of the September month. As of now, the AFCAT Admit Card are now available for the download on the official website of Air Force. IAF AFCAT 2/2015 Admit Card is being issued only to those eligible candidates who have submitted the duly filled in application form before the due date specified. It was declared well in advance that no admit card will be issued via post so no correspondence in this regard shall be entertained.


If the admit card is available on the official website then it is very much good which means the application form submitted on scrutiny was found to be true without any mistakes. If in case the admit card is not available then do not rush here and there. It clearly shows that the application form submitted has been discarded upon scrutiny due to some or the other reason.

How to download the Admit Card?  To download the Hall Ticket all you need to do is visit the official website of Air Force. Go the respective link. Fill in the credentials and download the admit card.


What all will be there on the Admit Card? The downloaded Hall Ticket will contain the name, photograph, signature, date on which the test will be conducted, venue where the test will be conducted and time when the test will be conducted followed by the instructions which every candidate has to abide with. Moreover till fortnight the admit card will be available so candidates can download the same as per their convenience.

Few Instructions: Make sure that you carry your admit card and a valid photo identity proof like passport, driving license, voter identity card, college identity card.

At the Air Force Common Admission Test centre the admit card will be attested. If you get selected then the attested admit card has to be carried for SSB Interview at Air Force Selection Board.
