Whatsapp: Pro’s and Cons

Craze of Whatsapp: People these days are now pretty
much familiar with the WhatsApp. It seems to be on everyone’s finger tips
almost all everytime. It seems like WhatsApp has become much more than just a
commodity these days. Its like, apart from food, air and water, WhatsApp is
another means for life to many. Jokes apart, everyone’s so addicted to WhatsApp
these days, that its misused, and is hence highly overrated as well. However,
like the saying goes, with good comes bad, and pros will follow cons.

The Pros and Cons of Using
Whatsapp

Lets
have a look at how many of the features, and ideas that’s WhatsApp offers are
useful, and how many seem to have been deplored.

1.To
begin with, WhatsApp has made it easier to connect with everyone around. Not
only does it let you talk to friends and family throughout, but also makes
texting faster.

However,
WhatsApp also has been overrated, and has been used up to its maximum just out
of boredom. Just because there’s nothing to do, people begin with WhatsApp.

2.
WhatsApp has made work really easy. Images, videos, the voice clips, contacts,
its all easy sharing with its help.

But
again, not everyone uses it just for work. Sharing pictures and videos as a
mere source of recreation is another disadvantage that seems. Its fine for a
while, but gradually it isn’t just for fun. Its for passing time.

3.
WhatsApp makes you prone and vulnerable. If not used in a safe and secured
manner, personal information, pictures, and a lot seems to be at stake.

4. WhatsApp
does not come up with advertisements or any such add ons. Its easy to use, and
all the tools for use are very basic in nature.

5. For
using WhatsApp, you need to have the inherent on throughout. You can receive
messages, or send messages only while the internet connection is on. Not really
a drawback this is, but then it consumes a lot of data.
6.
WhatsApp is one major reason why students don’t seem to be completely focused
on their studies. Parents are very much alarmed and concerned about their kids
being too much involved in such activities more than required. Everyone seems
to have this excuse about having work to do. However at the end, they end up
wasting their time.

7.
However, you can talk to only those people who have a smartphone and have the
app installed on their phones. Its nor just any body you want to, you can talk
via WhatsApp.

You’ve
read quite a lot on how is WhatsApp useful, and how does it seem to have a not
so good effect. Every one these days is so high tech and so regular even in the
Whatsapp Status Updates, that all these things,
from WhatsApp to Facebook, Twitter or LinkedIn, have all become style
statements!

So basically, it has its own set of advantages and disadvantages.
But the App however is widely the best messaging platform. It has a lot of
benefits and a few drawbacks here and there too. But this is all about it.
Happy WhatsApping!
