AIPVT examination for the session 2015-16 was scheduled for June 20, 2015 at many centres located across India. 15% of All India Quota seats in the Veterinary Colleges of India (except from Jammu & Kashmir State) are filled using the score of AIPVT examination 2015.
AIPVT Result is expected to be declared in the month of July 2015 on the official website of VCI. The information pertaining to Merit and Wait List will be sent on the candidate’s registered Email ID and Mobile Number via mail or SMS.
Re-Evaluation of Answer sheet: There is no provision of getting the answer sheets re-evaluated. Therefore no correspondence for the same shall be entertained.
AIPVT Merit List: On the very same day when the result will be declared Merit list will also be published on the official website. No separate merit list for SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates.

AIPVT Counselling
The dates and time and the process that will be adopted by VCI for counselling or say for the Final admission will be published on the official website on the very same day when the result will be declared. The schedule and procedure of Counseling will be based on merit/ wait list and the same information will be intimated to the candidates via Email and SMS also.
Mere appearance of the candidate does not automatically guarantee admission to a Veterinary College. If the candidate fails to appear in person on the specified date and time for whatsoever reason shall forfeit the claim for a seat under 15% All India quota. Further no correspondence in this regard shall be entertained.
Candidates have to be physically present at the time of counselling and also they have to carry the below mentioned documents in in original along with an attested copy of the documents for verification. If in case the candidate does not carry these documents it might lead to the cancellation of the candidature.
- Downloaded AIPVT Admit card.
- Downloaded AIPVT Rank letter
- Class 10 Certificate or Date of Birth Certificate
- Class 12 Marksheet/ Certificate
- Provisional certificate of Qualifying Examination will be accepted only if the candidate has passed in the year 2015 only.
- Character Certificate
- 6 latest passport size coloured Photographs
Counselling Venue: Counselling for the academic session 2015-16 will be conducted at Veterinary Council of India, Bhikaji Cama Place, New Delhi by a Counseling Committee. The decision of the Committee in respect of Counseling shall be final and abiding.
Important Things to remember:
- Once the seats reserved gets filled allotment will stand automatically closed
- Seats will be allotted on the basis of seniority in merit and availability.
- The selected candidates will be given the Allocation Letter on the day of Counselling itself.
- Request for provision for change of seats which has once been allocated will be entertained.
- There is no provision for re-counselling.
